Hardwood Flooring Options for Your Home

Every home is different, which is why we carry a wide selection of hardwood in a variety of species, finishes, and plank dimensions.

Types

• Solid hardwood is milled from single pieces of genuine timber. It can last generations, as it can be sanded and refinished multiple times. It’s ideal for above-grade rooms with wood subfloors.
• Engineered hardwood features a genuine hardwood veneer layered over a cross-grain core. This design resists expanding and contracting during humid South Carolina summers, making it suitable for concrete slabs, basements, and main living areas.

Species

• White oak is a favorite for modern and transitional designs.
• Red oak is a traditional Southern staple with warm reddish undertones.
• Hickory is exceptionally durable, making it great for homes with children and pets.
• Maple is known for its subtle, uniform grain and smooth finish.
• Walnut is a softer, luxurious wood with rich, natural chocolate tones for an upscale look.

Textures & Finishes

• Smooth: Sleek and classic with an even finish.
• Wire-brushed: Gently distressed along the grain to add subtle texture.
• Hand-scraped: Antiqued by hand to create soft undulations for rustic charm.
• Distressed: Features intentional markings for a lived-in, vintage appeal.

Widths

• Wide planks (5 inches to 8+ inches) for a modern look that makes spaces feel larger.
• Standard and narrow planks (2 ¼ inches to 4 inches) for a classic look often found in historic Greenville homes.
• Mixed widths to deliver a custom, historic look.
